How long will the delivery of my order take?
At Coalbrook, our aluminium garden furniture is handmade and powder coated to order. Our standard lead time is 6 to 8 weeks from the date of an order to the date of delivery.
However, we may have stock for quicker delivery. Please contact us for an accurate production schedule.

Description
In the 1950s, cast aluminium manufacturers realised that they could replicate iconic Victorian outdoor furniture that was originally produced in iron. Aluminium is rust free, two thirds lighter than cast iron and just as robust.
UK aluminium foundries, such as Jardine Leisure, Brambley, Freegate and Ashworth Leisure, cast benches, chairs and tables that were influenced by the designs of the 19th century. At Coalbrook, we also create the vintage style furniture that first began production in the 1950s, such as the Victorian dining and occasional tables.
Our reproduction Victorian furniture is etched and then colour powder coated before being baked at 210 °C. This allows the powder coating colour to super adhere into the aluminium surface to create exceptional colour longevity.
The Victorian table cast by the Coalbrookdale foundry was table number 20 in the company catalogue of 1875. Our aluminium reproduction has a very similar designed top but with a parasol hole. The table legs have also been upgraded to accommodate a parasol and larger diameter table tops.
Victorian Table Upgrades 2023
- Screw In Feet – All of our tables now have screw in nylon feet to protect the powder coating from scratching or chipping.
- Brass Dome Nuts – Coalbrook now specifies solid brass dome nuts for the leg and table top assembly.
- Parasol Thumb Screw – All dining tables have a tube and thumb screw underneath the top to secure a parasol.
- Larger Round Tables – The 94cm round Victorian table is still a great 4 seater but we now cast larger round tables. We now have a 120cm diameter 6 seat round table and a 150cm version, that will accommodate 8 of our Grape chairs.
- Wider Oval Tables – Originally the aluminium Victorian reproduction oval tables were 94cm in depth. However, this left little room in the middle of the table once place settings were set. We have now expanded all of the oval tables to a depth of 120cm. This is especially effective in improving the versatility and aesthetics of our larger sets.
- Square & Rectangular Tables – Our Victorian table range now boasts a 150 x 90cm rectangular table for 6 and a square 90 x 90cm table for up to 4 people. These tables can be placed together to create longer settings.
- Bistro Tables – To create more usable space, we have increased the diameter of the standard bistro table from 68cm to 72cm. There is also a new 100cm diameter bistro table which can easily cope with 4 people.

The Coalbrook hand crafted cast aluminium range can be left outside all year round in sun, rain, frost and snow. There is no need to cover or store our cast aluminium furniture. There is no need for maintenance.
At Coalbrook we are so confident that our vintage benches, tables and chairs will last, we offer a 10 year structural warranty on our aluminium castings. In the course of normal domestic use, our garden products will not break or bend, nor rust or rot.
Cleaning your Coalbrook maintenance free garden furniture is also extremely easy as the powder coated finish is so tough.To remove natural build up, simply wash down with warm water and a soft cloth or sponge.
NB Accidental damage by mistreating the furniture is not covered by our guarantee, although most knocks or dents can be easily rectified using touch up paints.
